The Maruti Suzuki has launched one of the best selling cars in the country, Maruti Suzuki WagonR in a completely new avatar. The company has priced the base variant LXI of the new WagonR from Rs 5,39,500 (Ex-showroom, India) while the top variant has been priced at Rs 6,81,000 (Ex-showroom, India). The price of its S-CNG variant has been fixed at Rs 6.81 lakh (ex-showroom). The new WagonR is powered by an advanced K-series dual jet, dual VVT engine with start-stop technology. It has been launched in 1.0 liter and 1.2 liter engine options. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR hatchback car directly competes with the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Santro.
WagonR has evolved continuously since its launch in 1999. WagonR has the highest percentage of repeat purchases in the Maruti Suzuki portfolio. More than one in four WagonR customers replace it again with a new WagonR. Over the years, WagonR has become the choice of over 2.7 million households. Looks and design
The new Wagon R has some changes. The new Wagon R gets exterior and interior updates which are designed to make it look fresher. We think the front end now looks much better. The new grille has become more narrow and the front bumper now has a bigger air dam plus there are new look fog lamps as well. However it is all not just cosmetic as the front upper grille has also been designed to reduce air borne noise. The Lxi and Vxi get a chrome front grille.
Interiors
The car actually has really impressive looking interior. The car looks incredibly classy from the interior. The interior is roomy and provide enough space for five adults to sit comfortably (five adults including the driver). The instrument panel of the new variant of Wagon R is definitely the winner for it has wonderful chrome accents that make it look really sophisticated. The plush upholstery, the dual tone effect, needle punch carpet, etc. make the car incredibly comfortable and good looking as well. There are front and rear cabin lamps as well.
2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR facelift Engine:
Talking about the engine of 2022 Maruti Suzuki WagonR, it will be available in three engine options 1.0-litre K-series dual jet, dual VVT engine and 1.2-litre engine. It will also come in a company-fitted S-CNG variant with a 1.0-litre engine.
