Mahindra & Mahindra is soon going to launch the Next Gen Mahindra Scorpio model of its popular SUV Mahindra Scorpio, which will be equipped with better looks and latest features. It is being learned in recent media reports that the next generation Mahindra Scorpio can be launched in June 2022 in the same finacial year. However, the company has not revealed the confirmed launch date of the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio. Currently, the third facelift model of Mahindra Scorpio is sold in the market. This SUV has not been upgraded for the last 5-6 years. Upgraded models of many popular cars are being launched in the coming days, in such a situation, Mahindra is also going to launch its best selling SUV Scorpio with better look and features in 2022. The new Scorpio has been spotted testing on several occasions in the recent past, in which its exterior has been revealed. New-Gen Mahindra Scorpio Exterior Design:
The From the exterior look and design of the new Scorpio, many major changes will be seen in the interior. Along with new advanced features and technology, 360 degree camera can also be given in this. At present, the testing of the new Mahindra is going on and its spy image is coming out on several occasions in the past. If media reports are to be believed, then it will get a powerful engine along with better styling, more sharp look and interior equipped with latest features. As per the revealed images the new Scorpio may get different front grill, LED lighting system and along with giving strong bumpers in the rear, the company has given LED taillamps.

Talking about the features, the SUV can possibly get features like new touchscreen infotainment system, connected car features, multi-functional steering wheel, automatic climate control, panoramic sunroof and wireless charging. The new generation Scorpio will be launched with both petrol and diesel engine options. Talking about other details of the new SUV, it includes three-spoke flat-bottom steering. The steering wheel has several buttons to control cruise control and media functions. It is not clear from this picture whether the driver side is fully digital or not, although it is likely to be a full digital unit.

However, as of now, no information has been officially shared about the details of the engine specifications of the Mahindra Scorpio next generation model. But it is believed that the new generation Scorpio is expected to get a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder mHawk turbo diesel engine, Along with the 2.0-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine will be seen, which can generate 155bhp power and 360Nm torque as well as 150bhp power and 300Nm torque respectively. The new Scorpio can be offered with 6 speed manual and 6 speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
