Toyota’s popular MPV Innova Crysta is back with a diesel variant. The company has relaunched this MPV and this time it has been launched in the market only with the diesel engine option. Customers can book the new Innova Crysta Diesel coming in a total of four trim variants G, GX, VX and ZX through their nearest dealership. For this, an amount of Rs 50,000 has been fixed as the booking amount. Ever since the launch of the Innova Hycross, speculations were rife that the company might not discontinue the Innova Crysta diesel forever.

The bookings of this MPV were stopped for the past few months, and the Innova Hycross was launched in the market. Ever since the arrival of the new Innova, the speculation about the diesel being discontinued had intensified. However, during the Auto Expo, Atul Sood, Vice President, Sales-Service, Toyota Kirloskar Motor Pvt Ltd made it clear that the Innova Crysta diesel will make a comeback.

Toyota Innova Crysta Diesel Booking Starts
Bookings for the new Innova Crysta have started. Anyone can book this SUV by paying Rs 50,000. The new Innova Crystra is available in four grades namely G, GX, VX and ZX. Apart from this, this MPV is available in five colors White Pearl Crystal Sign, SuperWhite, Silver, Attitude Black and Avant Garde Bronze color options.

The Toyota has used a 2.4-litre diesel engine in this car which generates 150PS of power and 343Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox. The company is expected to have adapted its engine to meet the new BS6 emission norms.

Toyota Innova Diesel – Exterior
The Toyota Innova Crysta gets a redesigned grille which is bigger than before and gives the MPV a bigger look. Apart from this, changes are also being seen in the fog lamp area and lower intake. The sporty looking fog lamps are adorned with L-shaped chrome inserts. Apart from this, the exterior of this car is largely similar to the previous model, which is flanked by sleeker LED headlamps. Its front bumper looks quite aggressive and 17-inch alloy wheels have been given in it. The rear of the Highcross gets wraparound LED tail-lamps.
Toyota Innova Diesel – Interior
The interior of the new Innova diesel gets new elements in many ways. The interior is all-black except for the top-spec automatic variant which gets tan coloured upholstery. The cabin now comes packed with features including power windows, automatic climate control, a new touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and aux-in. The twin-pod instrument cluster is new and blue-lit with a multi-function display. Automatic climate control system with a blower for the rear passengers completes the interior.
