Another premium hatchback car from Tata Motors is the Tata Altroz, which has got a 5 star rating in terms of safety from the Global NCAP. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 5.90 – 9.65 lakh. It also has two airbags for safety. This car is also available in both petrol and diesel variants. Apart from, The Altroz has received a lot of praise for its stable structure. Global NCAP said that the head and neck get good protection in the car, two adults sitting in the front seat get good chest protection. The first car in India to be given a 5 star rating by Global NCAP in terms of safety was the Tata Nexon. This is a very popular vehicle of Tata Motors. Its ex-showroom price is Rs 7.30 – 13.35 lakh. This is a 1.2 liter turbocharged Revotron petrol engine and a 1.5 liter turbocharged Revotron diesel engine. The fuel tank capacity in this is 44 liters. There are also two airbags for safety.
