Audi motor has launched another variants of electric car Audi e-Tron recently in India. The Audi e-Tron GT priced at Rs. 1.80 crore (ex-showroom, India). This new GT line is available with two variants including GT and RS GT. The company has already starts taking bookings. However, the car delivery expected to commence in the coming January 2022. The electric GT car is equipped with a large 83.7 kWh Lithium-ion battery pack. Performance wise, like the list of features, is impressive. The e-tron GT quattro has 390 kW (523 BHP) and 630 Nm and can thus do the 0-100 km/hr sprint in 4.1 seconds. The more costlier RS e-tron GT has a maximum of 475 kW (637 BHP) and 830 torques. It can smash the 0-100 km/hr run in 3.3 seconds. Claimed range though is higher for the base model which comes between 388 and 500 km, while the RS variant has a range of 401-481 km. The car can be charged the battery (5-80 percent) with 11 kW AC with in 9.5 hours to, while an optional 22 kW AC charger takes just over 5 hours to do the same job. Audi e-Tron GT Design:
Exterior
In terms of design and styling, The Audi e-Tron GT largely inspired by the first electric car e-Tron standard version of the e-Tron compact SUV, except for the face which gets Audi’s single-frame grille on the e-tron GT where the honeycomb-pattern grille is painted in the body colour with a black surround. The Audi e-Tron looks more or less exactly like its siblings –only a few detail changes like four-door coupe has a heavily sloping roofline, wide track, broad shoulder line and low bonnet. Rather than 4-door coupe, in base quattro form, comes equipped with LED lights and tail-lights are a part of the package as well. On the other hand, the RS e-tron GT has Matrix LED headlights with dynamic indicators, Bang & Olufsen sound system, all-wheel steering and adaptive air suspension. Apart from, There are optional extras such as the e-tron sports sound feature, ceramic brakes, Matrix LED with Audi laser light, carbon-fibre roof, black styling pack, RS styling pack and Sports Seats Pro pack.
Interior
Inside of the car, the e-tron GT’s dashboard is driver-focused, with the central stack tilted towards the driver. Unlike some newer Audis with a dual-screen set-up, the e-tron GT uses traditional physical buttons for the climate control. The RS e-tron GT comes with a RS styling package which brings with it a sports steering wheel with alcantara upholstery and contrasting stitching, Nappa leather upholstery on certain panels and Express Red or Steel Grey seatbelts.
