Design and Features

BMW Motorrad has launched a new member in the F series’ GS family, the all-new F 850 GS. The company has set a price tag of Rs 13.7 lakh (ex-showroom India) for the adventure-tourer motorcycle. Bookings have already commenced across all BMW Motorrad dealerships, while deliveries are scheduled for mid-2018. It is an advanced version of the current F 800 GS with better off-road capability, performance and electronics.

Engine

Powering the BMW F 850 GS is an all-new 853cc, parallel-twin engine which generates 95PS of power at 8250rpm and 92Nm of torque at 6250rpm, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. For a smoother shift, the company has equipped the motorcycle with a slipper clutch.
