Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has lunched the new BS6 compliant CRF1100L Africa Twin bike in India. The Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin is the powerful stylish style adventure tourer bike from Honda India lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine and updated features. In terms of design the new bike minor cosmetic changed, the Honda has implemented certain new added features are the new bike got are in the sub frame which now has an aluminum touch and is also detachable. BS6 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin come with 6.5-inch TFT touch-screen display with Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity, all-LED headlight with circular-shaped LED DRLs, tall windscreen, larger fuel tank, top-box and pannier mounts, wider sump guard, spoke wheel and tubeless tyre. The new bike equipped with electronic package such as six-axis IMU, six riding modes, ride by wire, cornering dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), rear lift control, wheelie control, cruise control and emergency stop signals. BS6 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin continues to be available in two attractive colors options with new bold body graphic and two variants including base variant is manual transmission option and top variant is DCT transmission option in India.

BS6 Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin is powered by the all-new 1084cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, parallel twin cylinder, BS6 engine fuel injection system that produces 101 Hp of power at 7500 rpm and 105 Nm of torque at 6250 rpm. The new bike engine is also available with two gearbox options such as manual and DCT. The new BS6 standard emission engine is able to generate 7 percent more torque and also 6 percent more peak power. The suspension duties managed by 43 mm Showa cartridge type inverted telescopic forks at the front and monoblock aluminum swing arm with pro link Showa gas charged damper at the rear. The braking duties handled by a 310 mm double discs brakes at the front and 256 mm single disc brake at rear with dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
