Kawasaki Motorcycles has finally lunched the new BS6 compliant Z900 bike in India. The Kawasaki Z900 is the powerful naked roadster street fighter bike from Kawasaki India lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine and updated features. In terms of design the new bike gets minor cosmetic changes, the Kawasaki has implemented certain new added features is the new Bluetooth-enabled 4.3-inch TFT display instrument panel which allow the users to pair their smartphone using the new Kawasaki Rideology app. The new bike equipped with new BS6 standard emission engine with fuel injection system which improve overall performance and fuel efficiency. BS6 Kawasaki Z900 comes with aggressive looking LED headlamp with LED DRLs, LED turn indicators, Z-shaped LED taillight, alloy wheels and Dunlop Sportsmax Roadsport 2 tyres. The new bike come with additional features dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System), three-level Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), two power modes and four riding modes. BS6 Kawasaki Z900 continues to be available in two attractive colors option with new body graphics and only one variant including the dual disc brake with dual-channel ABS option in India.

BS6 Kawasaki Z900 Specifications:

BS6 Kawasaki Z900 is powered by the all-new 948cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, in-line four-cylinder, BS6 engine with fuel injection system that produces 125 Hp of power at 9500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7700 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The suspension duties managed by 41 mm inverted fork with rebound damping or spring preload adjustability at the front and horizontal back-link with rebound damping or spring preload adjustability at the rear. The Braking duties handled by dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs brakes with dual opposed 4-piston at the front and Single 250 mm petal disc brake with single-piston at the rear with dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.

The new bike gets four riding modes Sport, Road, Rain and Rider, with the last one allowing the rider to set the systems as per preferences. In the terms of safety the bike equipped with dual petal discs brake at the front and single petal disc brake at the rear end with the dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the advance safety purpose ride in the road.
