TAs we all know, we do not have much choice in cheap cars with sunroof, but now Tata has done wonders in this segment. Yes, recently Tata Motors launched the new CNG variant of its famous premium hatchback car Tata Altroz in the market. Now the company has updated all the variants of Altroz with the sunroof feature.

Tata’s premium hatchback gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connected car tech along with a semi-digital instrument cluster. It also gets ambient lighting and cruise control. Tata comes with a number of customization options for the Altroz. It is one of the safest hatchbacks in the country and gets dual front airbags, ISOFIX child-seat anchors, auto park lock (DCT only) and rear parking sensors. The car has received a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test.
Sunroof variants expensive up to 45 thousand
The Altroz is now offered in a total of 13 new variants with petrol and diesel engines. Tata has included a sunroof in the Altroz from the mid-spec XM+ trim onwards, and it is available in a total of 16 variants across petrol, turbo-petrol, diesel and CNG powertrains. In general, the sunroof equipped variants are costlier by around Rs. 45,000 than the regular model. Notably, the Dark Edition of the Altroz now also gets a sunroof.

No changes have been made to the engine, this car is the same as before 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine with 86hp, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine with 110hp and 1.5-liter diesel engine with power output of 90hp. comes with These engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox as standard, although the naturally aspirated 1.2L also gets the option of a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
