Citroen is all set to launch an all-new crossover sedan. The French auto company may launch the C3X Crossover in the Indian market. The upcoming car will be the third car from Citroën to be built on the company’s India-based CMP modular platform. The designing of the C3X crossover Sedan is expected to be a bit different. There may be an attempt to make it different from the rest of the company’s cars. As per the reports, the new car could come with fastback styling and SUV-like ground clearance. If this happens then it will be a unique thing in the sedan segment. The upcoming sedan car in India will compete with cars like Honda City, Hyundai Verna, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia.
Citroen C3X Sedan: Launch Date
Citroën has a track record that the company launches a new model every year. At present, the company has not given official information regarding the launch of the new crossover sedan. Although it is believed that this car can be launched next year. At the same time, its electric version can take entry in 2025. The C3 Aircross can be launched during July-August this year.

Citroen C3X Sedan: Exterior Design
The front profile will take inspiration from the C3 Aircross. It will get a sloping roofline to integrate with the hatchback-style tailgate. SUV-like elements will include high ground clearance, large alloy wheels and rugged plastic cladding. The C3X is expected to measure around 4.4 meters in length, with the same wheelbase as the C3 Aircross SUV.
Citroen C3X Sedan: Interior Features
Citroën is emphasizing cost reduction with high localization of components and sharing parts with the other models. The C3X is expected to feature interior elements shared with the C3 Aircross, including a fully digital instrument cluster, 10-inch infotainment system, dashboard, steering wheel, seating and HVAC controls.
Citroen C3X Sedan: Engine
The C3X will be built on the modular CMP platform, tailored for Indian conditions. It will likely be powered by a 1.2-litre, 110 HP turbocharged petrol engine. An all-electric version of the C3X is also planned, expected to be introduced around six months after the launch of the petrol-powered variant.
