Ducati 1299 Panigale Overview: The Italian bike manufacturer company Ducati lunched the most aggressive looking super bike 1299 Panigale in India. Ducati 1299 Panigale is the base version of Ducati 1299 Panigale seriese. Ducati has whizzed past the 200 Bhp mark for a production bike for the first time in the 1299 Panigale. While most of the mechanicals of the 1299 Panigale have been borrowed from the 1199 Panigale, this bike gets a more powerful engine and an advanced electronics package. The Ducati 1299 Panigale stays true to its roots, though it does a wider fairing and a larger windshield. The bike will also come equipped with Ohlins Smart EC, an event-based control system for the suspension. Ducati 1299 Panigale S come with new advance electronics package like as Bosch 9.1 MP ABS ucati Wheelie Control (DWC), a quick shift system, an Engine Brake Control (EBC) system, Ducati Traction Control (DTC), Ducati Quick Shift (DQS) and Ducati Data Analyser (DDA). Ducati 1299 Panigale Specification: Ducati 1299 Panigale S is powered by a 1285 cc, Superquadro L-Twin, 4 Desmodromically actuated valves per cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The engine generate maximum power 202.2 Bhp at 10500 Rpm and maximum torque of 144.6 Nm at 8750 Rpm. The engine is equipped with electronic fuel injection system, twin injectors per cylinder and full ride-by-wire elliptical throttle bodies. The engine is mated to a six speed gearbox. The bike uses Ducati Safety Pack twin 330mm semi-floating disc, radially mounted Brembo Monobloc EVO M50 4-piston calipers with Cornering ABS Bosch 9.1 MP at the front and 245mm disc, 2-piston caliper with Cornering ABS as standard at the rear. The brakes are equipped with Bosch 9.1 MP electronically adjustable Anti-lock Braking System which makes it more responsive. The suspension work is handled by Marzocchi 50mm pressurized & fully adjustable USD fork with hard anodized aluminum lightweight slider at the front and fully adjustable Sachs unit, adjustable linkage with Progressive or flat, aluminum single-sided swingarm at the rear. The bike has a fuel tank of 17 liters and it weights around 190.5 kg.
