Ducati Diavel 1260 is powered by a 1262 cc, L-twin-cylinder, Ducati Testastretta DVT engine that is tuned to deliver 157 Bhp of power at 9500 rpm and 129 Nm of torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The variable timing system acts continuously on the intake and exhaust camshafts, helping the engine adjust power delivery to suit riding conditions. Braking on the standard model is done by Brembo M4 calipers at the front whereas the Diavel 1260 S sports higher-spec M50 calipers. At the rear, both models use a single-disc with a floating caliper. Ducati Diavel 1260 gets a 6-axis Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit, which instantaneously detects bike speed and acceleration.
