The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has finally launched its most affordable SUV Maruti Fronx in the domestic market. Adorned with attractive looks and powerful engine capacity, the starting price of this SUV has been fixed at just Rs 7.46 lakh, which goes up to Rs 13.13 lakh for the top model. In the market, this car will mainly compete with Tata’s best selling SUV Tata Nexon. The company is selling this SUV from its premium NEXA dealership. Its booking has already been started.
The turbo-petrol engine has been used in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. This vehicle will be available to the customers in five trims – Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta and Alpha. The Maruti Fronx is available with 1.0 turbo-petrol and 1.2 petrol engines. There is a choice of two automatic and one manual gearbox. It will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa outlets.

Exterior
Talking about the exterior of Maruti Suzuki Frons, new front grille with chrome accents, LED multireflector headlight, LED DRL, squared wheel arches, 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear faux skid plates have been given.
The Fronx is the first SUV from Maruti Suzuki to feature LED lights all over the tailgate at the rear. It gets sleek looking 3 cube DRLs which look very similar to the crystal block. The rear skid plate gives a dashing look to the new Fronx.
Interiors
The company has decorated the interior of this SUV with a dual tone theme. Leather-wrapped steering wheel, chrome interior door handles, premium fabric seat belts, flat bottom steering, rear parcel tray, wireless charger, paddle shifters, cruise control, electrically adjustable outside rear view mirrors (ORVM’s), keyless entry , heated adjustable driving seat, power windows, automatic climate control, AC vents for rear row while Delta variant gets 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, SmartPlay Pro infotainment system, voice assistant feature, over-the-air (OTA) updates, 4-speaker sound system, electrically adjustable Features like wing mirrors and steering wheel-mounted controls etc. are available.
Engine & Power
The new Maruti Fronx has been introduced with the company’s two petrol engine options. It is coming with 1.0 turbo-petrol and 1.2 petrol engine, it is being offered with automatic and manual transmission gearbox. Its turbo petrol engine generates power of 100 PS and torque of 147Nm. Whereas the naturally aspirated K-series engine generates 89.73 PS of power and 113Nm of torque. This SUV will be offered with 5-speed manual, automatic and 6-speed automatic transmission gearbox.
