Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Fronx SUV during the Auto Expo 2023. This vehicle will be available to the customers in five trims – Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta and Alpha. Let us tell you that both 1.0 turbo-petrol and 1.2 petrol engines have been given in Maruti Fronx. It will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa outlets. However, the prices of this model have not been disclosed by the company yet. Maruti Suzuki has designed the Franks model on the lines of its Baleno model. Let’s know about its features.
The turbo-petrol engine has been used in the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. This vehicle will be available to the customers in five trims – Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta and Alpha. The Maruti Fronx is available with 1.0 turbo-petrol and 1.2 petrol engines. There is a choice of two automatic and one manual gearbox. It will be sold through Maruti’s Nexa outlets.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx: Launch Date
Maruti Suzuki showcased the Fronx and the 5-door Jimny SUV during the Auto Expo 2023. According to the company, the sales of Maruti Suzuki Fronx will start from April this year. Please tell that its booking window was already opened.

Engine & Power
Maruti Suzuki Fronx is offered with two engine options. This option is available in very few Maruti vehicles. The new 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine has been given in this vehicle. Also available is a 1.2-litre 4-cylinder engine.
The turbo-petrol engine is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. Whereas, the naturally aspirated petrol engine has been given a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT gearbox. The 1.2 NA engine is offered on three trims – Sigma, Delta and Delta+. The 1.0 turbo engine will be offered in Delta+, Zeta and Alpha trims. Let us tell you that the 1.0-liter, 3-cylinder turbo-petrol of this vehicle generates power of 100hp and torque of 147.6Nm. Whereas, its 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder produces 90hp power and 113Nm torque.

Exterior
Fronx, a compact SUV that comes with a sporty look, comes with a variety of connectivity features. It comes with head up display, turn by turn navigation, 360 degree camera, wireless charger, 22.86 cm HD Smart Play Pro+ infotainment system. The company will offer the Fronx with six single tone color options. Apart from this, the company will also present the Fronx in the market with three trendy dual tone colours.
The Fronx is the first SUV from Maruti Suzuki to feature LED lights all over the tailgate at the rear. It gets sleek looking 3 cube DRLs which look very similar to the crystal block. The rear skid plate gives a dashing look to the new Fronx.
Interiors
The premium cabin has been given in Fronx equipped with dual tone black and Bordeaux. There is metal texture all around the dashboard. It has a 9-inch infotainment system with 360-degree camera, 6-speaker music system, wireless phone charger, pedal shifters, wireless Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and head-up display. With Suzuki Connect onboard, the Fronx comes with over 40 connected features.
