Hyundai has taken the wraps off the GV 70 SUV, the electric car of its luxury brand Genesis, at the Auto Gwangzo 2021 show. The new electric car has been showcased with several cosmetic changes and an electric powertrain as compared to its fuel-powered model. The company has introduced this luxury electric SUV with a long range and on a single charge, this car can be driven up to 500 km.
It is based on the company’s regular size GV70 SUV, which may have inherited its basic design and space, but it also gets many advanced features as an electric SUV, it looks similar to its ICE-powered models. But it has been given a closed grille for better aerodynamics, within which the charging port has been included.
This car comes with a special boost mode. This boost mode increases the power output of the car for short duration, giving the driver a great driving experience. Apart from, This car can accelerate to 100 km in just 4.5 seconds. The car’s battery supports 350kW fast charging. It gets charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. It will compete with many other cars like the BMW iX3, Jaguar I-Pace and Mercedes EQC.
