Honda has confirmed that their new powerful sport bike CBR 650R will be launched in the Indian market, in early 2019. Honda has unveiled the new sport bike CBR 650R at EICMA 2018. The updated model new CB650R gets sportier revisions and replaces the CBR 650F in the existing lineup. The new Honda CBR 650R will be more powerful, mechanically advanced and offer a number of upgrades, compared to the CBR 650F. The CBR 650R comes with a higher rev limiter, improved torque curve and a weight reduction of 6kg, all of which further aid the performance of the CBR 650R. These updates offer better performance and overall efficiency.
Honda CBR 650R Specifications:
Honda CBR 650R is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled, 16-valve, DOHC, inline-4 cylinder engine that produces 95 Bhp of power at 12000 rpm and 64 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission. Suspension duties are handled by 41 mm Showa separate function forks (SFF USD) at the front and a monoshock damper with adjustable preload and 43.5 mm of stroke at the rear. Braking duties are handled by 310 mm discs x 4.5 mm disc with four piston calipers at the front and 240 mm disc x 5 mm disc with single piston caliper at the rear. The bike come with Dual channel ABS is standard.
