Electric cars have been seen in Auto Expo 2023 on the first day. After Maruti Suzuki and MG India, now Hyundai has also launched the new Ionic 5 EV in the Indian market, whose ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 44.95 lakh. Let us tell you that the company has introduced this special price for the first 500 customers, after that all the booking customers are going to get this electric car at an increased price. Hyundai India has also started booking this car with a token of Rs 1 lakh. This is Hyundai’s second electric car in India after the Kona EV. The launch of this car has been done in the presence of King Khan of Bollywood i.e. Shah Rukh Khan.

Exterior
In terms of design, the Hyundai Ioniq 5 looks very Retro-futuristic styling from the outside . At the front, Hyundai Ioniq 5 consists of sharp angular lines and animated headlights. On either side you get a sleek pair of LED headlights, with U-shaped LED DRLs right below. It’s a pretty stunning looking thing, isn’t it? It’s all squared-off lines and sharp angles. At a glance it looks like some sort of retro, video-game hatchback from the late ‘80s that’s been reimagined for modern times. In reality, it’s actually the size of a regular family SUV. It’s a deceptively large car, this; but that means it’s got a tonne of space inside for passengers and luggage. And with a range of up to 400 miles, it’s got the legs to go the distance too.

The interior of the Ioniq 5 looks simple and functional. The cabin is just as stylish as the exterior. This doesn’t look or feel quite like any Hyundai we’ve ever driven before – it’s all swish, high-tech screens and plush, eco-friendly materials in here.
