Jio said that this is one of our biggest launches since we started rolling out True 5G services. These cities are important tourist destinations as well as major education centers of our country. This will not only provide the users with the best telecom network but also provide endless opportunities for growth in the areas of e-governance, education, automation, artificial intelligence, gaming, healthcare, agriculture, IT and SMEs.

Jio 5G will be available in Jabalpur-Gwalior from January:-

By January 2023, Jio True 5G service will be launched in other major cities of the state, Jabalpur and Gwalior. Along with this, Jio True 5G service will be launched in every city and taluka of MP by the end of December 2023. Jio has invested Rs 4420 crore in Madhya Pradesh to provide 5G service. These investments constitute 68% of the investments made across the spectrum of the industry.

Earlier, True 5G service was started in Madhya Pradesh. It started from Mahakal Lok of Ujjain. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan launched this service of Jio in a program organized at Triveni Museum. Before MP, Reliance Jio launched its Jio True 5G service on 25 November in 33 district headquarters of Gujarat. Apart from this, this service has started in cities like Pune, Delhi.

How to start 5G service on Android phone:

  • To enable 5G on Android phone, go to the setting of the mobile.
  • Now go to the network settings of the phone and access the preferred network.
  • Here the option of different networks like 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G will be available.
  • Select 5G in you preferred network and exit Settings.
  • When the phone comes in 5G network it will switch to its 5G.

Difference between 5G and 4G:

  • Speed:- The download speed of 5G will be very fast as compared to 4G. If we consider this as an example, then the speed of 4G can reach up to 1 GB per second. Whereas the maximum speed of 5G can reach up to 10 GB per second.
  • Latency:- First of all, let us tell you the meaning of latency that when you send a message to a friend, the time between sending the message from your phone to receiving the message in his phone is measured by latency. This time is very short i.e. millisecond. Actually, latency is not felt even in 4G. But just imagine how much faster it will be in 5G.
  • Coverage:- As we mentioned above, smartphone users and internet users are increasing rapidly in the country. 4G spectrum is limited and with the continuous addition of new users, the pressure on a single network is increasing. For example, earlier where 50,000 people used to catch phone signals on one tower. At the same time, signal is being given to the phones of 1,50,000 people on that tower. Due to this network congestion is increasing. But in 5G this status will be refreshed and service will be available without interruption.
  • Device Connectivity:- In 4G, there is a problem in handling multiple devices at the same location. Many of us have experienced this when in crowded areas and during music concerts. 5G has the capacity to handle one million devices per class.
  • Online Gaming Lag:- You all must have played PUBG. Many times it may have happened that you pressed the fire button, but the fire happened after a while in the game. That is, the time between pressing the button and getting its response is game lag. Compared to 4G, this lag will be very less in 5G. In online gaming, this time will be less than 1 micro second.
