The Kawasaki Z1000 is a four-cylinder motorcycle in the streetfighter or standard style. It was first introduced as a successor to the early-1970s Z1 and Z900 machines. Kawasaki introduced the Z1 (900) motorcycle in 1972 as the first of the Kawasaki Z series. Four years later they introduced the Kz900. The original Z1 was the first series of Japanese motorcycles with the combination of four cylinders, dual overhead cams and 903 cc (55.1 cu in).
Kawasaki Z1000 Overview : In 2013, Kawasaki showed a huge expansion in the sector of sports bike and further expanded its line up by launching its crude Z1000 and the Ninja 1000. Both the products were launched at the same time and each of them got its own audience to appreciate and applaud. Kawasaki Ninja Z1000 is company’s yet another racing bike which is quite suitable for street riding as well.

Kawasaki Z1000 Specifications : This bike shares much similarities with the Ninja 1000 and packs in 1,043cc DOHC, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 142PS of power at 10,000rpm and 111Nm of torque at 7,300rpm. Along with this, it also hosts twin spar cast alloy frame with an upside-down telescopic suspension up front and a horizontal layout mono-shock at the back. The engine is mated with 6-speed gearbox and the rider can switch to any of the three traction modes to shift the power from the engine to the rear wheel.
