Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani
It was a romantic comedy releasing in 2009 in which katrina worked with Ranbir Kapoor for the first time. Movie was very sweet and its songs were amazing specially Tu Jaane Na. It is the third highest grossing film of 2009 behind 3 Idiots and Love Aaj Kal. I watched this movie in Big Cinemas pune, i liked the way her character always brought the electrifying sunshine onscreen every time she would come on the celluloid.
New York
In New York, Katrina Kaif played the role of Maya who is married to Samir Sheikh (played by John Abraham). Omar (played by Neil Nitin Mukesh) who is a college friend of the couple is set up by FBI Agent Roshan (played by Irrfan Khan) to spy on Sam who is suspected as a terrorist. Maya and Omar convinces Sam to leave the world of crime but is shot dead by the FBI. New York was Directed by Kabir Khan and Produced by Aditya Chopra of Yash Raj Films. New York was a box office hit of 2009 and was received well by the audience and critics.
Rajneeti – Rajneeti is a political movie released in 2010. It was directed and produced by Prakash Jha. People liked Katrina Kaif in the serious role of a lover/politician. Under the guidance of Prakash Jha she gave her career’s best performance in Rajneeti. She proved that she can perform any character with great aplomb. The music director was Wayne Sharpe. More piya song became super hit in which Katrina looks beautiful. This film became one of the top grosser of bollywood.
Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara
Releasing in 2011, directed by zoya Akhtar this coming of age story between 3 friends emasculates to an embarking journey across Spain where Katrina got to show her acting skills as Layla, a scuba diving instructor. This film raked many awards inincluding best story and a filmfare award to the lady herslf.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan
An ultimate love story saga released in 2012 directed by none other than the king of romance Yash Chopra just before his death. This far by now remains the most satisfying performance of Katrina Kaif as an actress. Her acting was applauded and even the critics started patronizing the enchanting diva. The icing on the cake was her debut pairing opposite SRK which was very soothing to watch omscreen.
Ek Tha Tiger
Directed by Kabir Khan this movie broke all the previous box office records in the year end of2012. The story was about two intelligence officers from opposite sides of the Indo-Pak border falling in love to realize that life is too short to live with borders. Katrina was spectacular once again and the song mashallah swayed the masses to the Arabic tunes. But, then again you can’t miss the rock solid performance of larger than life actor Salman Khan.

Finally it happened, the much anticipated movie of the year 2013 with the golden pairing of Aamir Khan and Katrina Kaif released to break all time box office records. The audience swayed from the track kamli to dhoom title track and much more uproar worthy presence of Mr Perfectionist in a double role.
