The SUV has been equipped with a liquid cooled battery pack that supports fast charging of up to 80% in 55 minutes, auto transmission, fast charge and remote connections. The launch of the eKUV100 is expected to be anytime in the coming months. Although, the pricing of the car is not officially out yet, The Delhi government’s incentive of ₹1.50 lakh to buy an electric car will pull back the e-KUV100 price to less than ₹7 lakh. This scheme, however, is restricted to the first thousand electric vehicles bought after the announcement was made. Those who will miss out can take benefit through waived-off road tax and registration fees for electric vehicles as part of this policy. The cars battery can be charged with in 5-6 hours from AC normal charger while DC fast charging can juice up the battery 0-80 percent with in 55 min. If we talk about performance then, Mahindra KUV100 capable to accelerate from 0-60kmph in just 11.2 seconds as well as this electric car can reach the top speed of 75kmph. The cars measurements are same as the fuel oriented car. The electric KUV100 car has overall length of 3,700mm, Width of 1,735 mm and Height of 1,655 mm. In terms of styling, there will no difference in the KUV100 EV from its Fuel oriented car. The eKUV100 will look similar to the gasoline-powered KUV100, with some minor changes across the vehicle. The addition of black side skirts gives it a sporty look. Chrome highlights are also a nice addition over the regular KUV100. Mahindra might bring in new alloys as well for the eKUV100. The biggest difference is the blue highlights on the exterior and the seats inside to recognise the SUV as an electric vehicle instantly.

The interior on the eKUV100 will be exactly the same as the regular KUV100. Only minor change done to the interior is the replacement of glossy plastic on the interior with matte-finish plastic.
