Mercedes has launched its latest luxury SUV Benz GLB in India. It is a big sized SUV and offers three rows of passenger seating. Look & Design
If we talk about the design, then in this new SUV you will get to see the design like all other vehicles of Mercedes. Let us tell you that the design of GLB can look similar to GLS to a great extent. In this new car, you will get to see a long and flat bonnet, flat roofline, square headlights, square wheel arches. Coming to the rear, it still looks quite similar to the Mercedes Benz GLS. The company has introduced this SUV in two models. These include the Progressive Line and the AMG Line. The design of both these vehicles is quite different from each other. In the progressive line, you get to see dual slot grille, artificial silver skid plate, chrome trim on the outside and 18 inch alloy wheels. While talking about its AMG model, design elements like sharp bumper, AMG themed grille and 19 inch alloy wheels are already seen in this car.
Mercedes-Benz GLB: Engine Details
Talking about the engine options, you will get both petrol and diesel options in this new SUV. This car has the option of 1.3 liter four cylinder turbo petrol engine and 2.0 liter four cylinder diesel engine. Talking about power output, its 1.3 liter turbo petrol engine can generate power of 163bhp and peak torque of 250nm. With this engine you get the option of 7 speed automatic transmission. You get the option of front wheel drive only in this car. At the same time, the 2.0-liter diesel engine of this car can generate power of 190bhp and peak torque of 400nm. An 8-speed automatic transmission option has been given with this engine.
