British carmaker MG Motor has unveiled its all-electric hatchback MG4 EV in the United Kingdom. The company has said that the electric car will be based on its Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), making the car its most technologically advanced EV offering. It can also be launched in India soon. The company currently sells the MG ZS EV in India, which is a premium electric car. MG Motors is also now focusing on electric cars. A new electric hatchback can be launched in the Indian market by the company. We are giving information about the features of the car in this news.
The length of the MG 4 EV is 4287mm, width 1836mm and height 1506mm. The wheelbase of the electric hatchback is 2705 mm long. This model has been introduced globally with 51kWh and 64kWh battery pack options. Both the variants get a single-motor, RWD system. 350km with the smaller battery pack while 452km range can be found with the larger battery pack.

According to media reports, this new electric car can be brought to the Indian market by MG Motors. The new car can be introduced by the company at the Auto Expo in the month of January. According to the information, MG is preparing to introduce 4EV.

5-star Safety Rating
The MG 4 EV recently scored a 5-star safety rating in crash tests from Euro NCAP. The electric car has scored 83 per cent for adult occupant protection, 80 per cent for child occupant protection, 75 per cent for pedestrian passenger safety and 78 per cent for safety assist systems.
MG 4 EV: Battery & Range
According to the information, the car can also be offered in the Indian market with the option of two batteries. One of these can be 51 and the other 64 kWh battery. The 51 kWh battery will give the car a range of 350 km on a single charge and the bigger 64 kWh battery will give the car a range of 452 km. Which generates torque of 170bhp and 203bhp. Both the variants get a single-motor, RWD system and generate 250Nm of maximum torque.

Talking about the design of the car, it looks like a crossover car. LED daytime running lamps have been given in the car. The front bumper gets angular inset, central air intake and LED light elements on the outer edges. Other highlights of its exterior design include a glass roof, full-width LED taillights, a skid plate on the rear bumper and aero-styled alloy wheels.
