The company is soon going to launch the next generation of Celerio in the market, recently this car was also spotted during testing. Now news is coming that the company is also working on the next generation of its entry level hatchback car Alto. According to the Japanese website, the company is working on its new Suzuki Alto, a picture of Alto has also been released on this website. The name of the car has been given on the front plate of this car and it is being told that it is the next generation Alto. It is also being claimed in this report that the company can launch this car in the market by 2022.

However, not much information is available about the upcoming car. The new Alto is expected to get a new age design. With this, the front and rear of the vehicle will get a completely new look with new headlamps, new bumpers and new tail lamps.

The cabin and interior of the new car is also expected to be different from the current model. The new Alto can see a design inspired by the new WagonR. Talking about the features, it is likely to have the same features as before. But one can expect features like a new touchscreen infotainment system and a restyled instrument cluster with digital MID. According to reports, the length of the new Alto will be 3395mm, width is 1475mm and height will be 1500mm. It will have a wheelbase of 2465mm. Talking about the possible features of the new generation Maruti Suzuki Alto, it will include a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto support, keyless entry, power windows, dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensor, speed alert system. Many stylish and standard features will be seen.
Maruti Next-gen Alto -hatchback Launch Date
As per the fresh media reports, Maruti will make global debut from next year. The upcoming hatchback will enter production in September. It will first go on sale in Japanese market before the end of this year, while India launch expected in the first quarter of 2022.

It is believed that the next generation Maruti Alto will see a 3 cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which can generate power up to 48bhp and better speed and performance can be expected from this. Its mileage can also be expected to improve, as the SHVS mild hybrid system can be seen in it. Due to which its mileage will be even better. The upcoming Alto can be offered with CNG option.
