Car maker Nissan Motor India on Wednesday launched the ‘Red’ edition of its model Magnite. Prices of the new Nissan Magnite Red Edition start at Rs. 7.86 lakhs. This new model is based on the XV trim and is offered in three variants. At the same time, it gets two color options Onyx Black and Storm White. Let us know what is special about the new Nissan Magnite Red Edition.
The company has launched the SUV with a price of Rs 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom). Its second variant Turbo MT XV Red Edition is priced at Rs 9.24 lakh (ex-showroom). Its third variant Turbo CVT XV Red Edition is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The automaker had earlier announced that it would launch the Nissan Magnite Red Edition on July 18. But the company may have left it prematurely in view of the increasing competition in the market. The look of this new special edition SUV is quite attractive and different from the regular edition Magneel. It has been given many additional elements including new red highlights and chrome hints that add to its look.
Nissan Magnite RED Edition: Exterior Design
As for the exterior design, the look of the SUV, the Magnite Red gets a distinctive red colored accent that covers the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arches and body side cladding. Similar accents have been included in the interiors of the car which includes red-themed dashboard, door side armrests and red accents on the center console. Needless to say, the use of red color accents gives this SUV a very sporty look. Other major updates on the car include tail door garnish. The badging of the RED Edition has been given a prominent place. Coming to the side profile of the car, the car retains the R16 diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Nissan Magnite RED Edition: Interior
The company has given red color lining with dashboard, door side armrest and center console in its interior according to the theme of this SUV. Apart from this, glimpses of this Red Edition can be seen on the graphics, tail doors and parts of the SUV. This special edition SUV gets features like wireless charger, PM 2.5 air filter, LED scuff plate, and ambient mood lighting. Being based on the Magnite XV variant, the car comes with features like 8.0-inch touchscreen with Wi-Fi connectivity for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 7.0-inch full TFT instrument cluster and rear-view camera with projection guide.
Nissan Magnite: Engine Specification
Talking about the engine and power of Nissan Magnite Red Edition, it has been given a 1.0 liter petrol engine. Which has been introduced in variants of naturally aspirated and turbocharged. Its 1.0 naturally aspirated petrol engine generates power of 71 bhp and peak torque of 91 Nm. The turbocharged engine generates 98 Bhp of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. With both these engines, the company has given the option of 5 speed manual and CVT transmission. In the compact SUV segment, the Nissan Magnite Red Edition competes with popular SUVs like Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonnet, Mahindra XUV300 and Maruti Suzuki Brezza.
