Nissan has launched it’s most awaiting B-segment SUV “Magnite” last year in India with starting price of Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The Magnite goes up to Rs. 9.35 lakh (introductory, ex showroom) for the top variant. Nissan Magnite has the most affordable starting price – and by far – among sub-compact SUVs. The car comes with a naturally aspirated and turbo petrol engines. This SUV comes with a host of features and four variants. It gets two petrol engines and two choices of transmission. Nissan has received overwhelming response for the product after the launch in December 202. While bookings crossed the 40,000-unit mark, the brand is working on reducing the waiting period the Magnite commands at present. Nissan Magnite will face stiff competition from the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, Ford EcoSport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and the Toyota Urban Cruiser.

In terms of styling, the compact SUV is well proportioned and has a muscular stance that is accentuated by its strong body lines. Nissan used Magnite’s silhouette and tail-lights of the SUV. Instead of the upright design, the Nissan’s compact SUV comes with crossover-like design similar to the Nissan Kicks. It gets a floating roof design with contrasting paint options. Some of the styling elements will be shared with the second-gen Juke sold in abroad. The Nissan Magnite comes with a sporty appearance and gets sleek-looking LED headlamps upfront with LED DRLs. Moreover, the large wheel arches and alloy wheels lend the vehicle a lot of character.

Inside of the car, It is in terms of features that Nissan may have a trump card. Although Magnite does not get a sunroof or ventilated seats – both popular among Indian car buyers, it does put in a vivid and responsive eight-inch infotainment unit. Front, rear and side cameras assist in safe driving while an optional Tech Pack packs in an air purifier, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting and a premium sound system.
