Vehicle manufacturer Tata Motors introduced its concept car Curvv at Auto Expo 2023, which caught the attention of many people as soon as it arrived. Now a new update has come regarding this. The car is said to come with an internal combustion engine (ICE) in the form of a 1.2L TGDi petrol engine, with the production model expected to start in 2024. Let us tell you that its EV variant was introduced a year before the introduction of Tata Curvv’s ICE concept model. In the ICE version, this car can come with both manual and automatic transmission.

Talking about these engines on the sidelines of AutoExpo 2023, Rajan Amba, Vice President, Sales, Marketing and Customer Service, Tata Motors, says that these engines will be used in the new concept showcased at the expo. According to Express Mobility, he said, “These new engines are lighter weight, definitely more powerful with better fuel efficiency, better emissions and higher low-end torque. These will come from concepts that we have, eg For Tata Sierra and Tata Curvv.

Tata Curvv Petrol Engine:
The Tata Curvv ICE will be powered by an 1.2-litre turbocharged direct injection petrol engine which capable of producing 123 bhp power at 5,000 rpm and 225 Nm of peak torque at 3,500 rpm. Transmission options are also expected to be a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. At the same time, a 1.5-litre engine can also be added as an option.

In terms of design and features, the Tata Curvv is expected to be introduced as an upmarket midsize coupe SUV, introduced with angled headlights and sleek LED DRLs. At the front, the car sports a massive bumper with top grille design, sleek front end and sloping roof line. The flared wheel arches, alloy wheels and flush door handles given in it make this car more luxurious.
Interiors
Inside the Tata Curvv’s cabin, the flat dashboard, digital driver display panel, two-spoke steering wheel and the retro look throughout the cabin makes the Curve stunning on the outside as well as on the inside.
