There is another good news about the new Tata Sierra concept unveiled at Auto Expo 2023. According to Tata’s Global Design Head, Martin Uhlarich, the design of the upcoming SUV has been finalised, so the production Sierra will look a lot like the SUV seen above.
The 2023 version of the Sierra has looked more mature than its previous concept and has also appeared bigger in size than before. The Sierra showcased in 2020 was 4.1 meters in length and Martin Larrick, Tata’s global design head, says that its final design is 4.4 meters in length.

Tata Sierra Launch Date:
As the name suggests, the Sierra will be offered in an electric avatar with a range of up to 400 km on a single charge. This car can be launched here by 2025 and its price can be around Rs 25 lakh. It will be positioned below the Harrier EV in the company’s SUV lineup.

360-degree View Camera
A 360-degree view camera will be available in this car, with the help of which users will get ease in parking and reversing. Also, four 19-inch alloy wheels have been used in it. The new Sierra EV is built on the brand’s Sigma platform. This car has high speed warning sensor. In this, users will also get turn indicators and door opening warning sound.
Tata Sierra Electric SUV: Range & Power
As the details have not been revealed yet, 69kWh is expected to be given in this upcoming electric SUV car, which is divided into two sections. Under one section, the battery has been installed in the floor, while the other has been used under the boat floor. The car is available in two versions, which are FWD (single electric motor) and AWD (two electric motors). The information about the power output will be disclosed by the company during the launch.

The Tata Sierra EV is expected to measure 4300mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1600mm in height. The wider body generally gives better shoulder room inside the car, while the higher roofline makes it easier to get in and out of the car. Tata Sierra EV is expected to ride on 2650 mm wheelbase. Wheelbase is the distance between the center of the front and rear wheels. Longer wheelbase usually gives better legroom.

Exterior
In terms of design, the design of the Sierra EV concept also flaunts Tata’s latest design language, with sleek headlamps running down the bonnet and a strip of LED daytime running lamps along the top edge. It also gets an extended rear window panel like the original Sierra. A similar end-to-end LED strip design can be seen in the rear braking indicator tail lights. The wheels look astonishing in Tata’s product gallery with a hint of chrome present in the rims. The door handles have a futuristic touch to them.
Interior
Talking about the interiors of the car, Tata Sierra EV looks phenomenal. The futuristic layout is further enhanced with a two-tone color palette. While there are a few physical buttons visible on the steering wheel and below the large display, most of the features on this car are expected to be touch controlled. The ambient lighting throughout the car gives it a premium feel and combined with the two-tone color scheme, this car could look very attractive, at least to the EV enthusiast. The car is spacious and has a panoramic sunroof.
