CNG variants are becoming popular in the country amid rising prices of petrol and diesel. In such a situation, Tata Motors has added a new XM variant to the Tigor CNG line-up, which is priced at Rs 7.40 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Tigor XM CNG is now the most affordable CNG variant in the Tigor line-up which was earlier available only in the top XZ and fully loaded XZ+ variants. The engine of Tata Tigor gets a 5-speed gearbox. The mileage of this car is 26.49 km/kg. In India, this car will compete with the Hyundai Aura.
Compared to the XZ, the XM CNG is more affordable by around Rs 50,000, though some features have been reduced. The Tigor XM iCNG variant will be available in Opal White, Daytona Grey, Arizona Blue and Deep Red color options.

Tata Tigor CNG XM: Exterior Design
The CNG-powered version of the Tigor doesn’t get any design changes over its petrol versions, apart from an ‘i-CNG’ badge on the tailgate to differentiate itself. Compared to its petrol-only counterpart, which has a boot space of 419 litres, the Tigor CNG has 205 litres. The XM trim of the Tigor CNG – like the XZ – also gets 14-inch steel wheels, projector headlamps, LED tail-lights and a piano black finish on the wing mirrors.
What is not to be found in XM CNG ?
The XM CNG lacks fog lamps, tweeters, steering-mounted audio controls, electric-adjust wing mirrors, keyless go, cooled glovebox and rear center armrest. The car also gets less chrome trimming as compared to the high-spec XZ variant.
Tata Tigor CNG XM: Engine
Talking about the engine, the 1.2-litre, naturally aspirated three-cylinder unit is available with the rest of the Tigor CMG line-up. When running on CNG, the unit generates 72.4bhp and 95Nm of torque. It is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Standard Features:- The device includes front and rear power windows, manual AC, an audio system with Bluetooth connectivity, 4 speakers, a digital instrument cluster, central locking and a manual day-night inside rear view mirror, rear parking sensors etc.
