However, there have been many major changes in the list of top 10 cars. Like the rest of the months, in March 2023 also, 7 of the 10 best-selling cars were from Maruti Suzuki. Maruti Suzuki Swift Top in the list
Maruti Suzuki Swift has been the best selling car in the past month. It has sold 17,559 units in March 2023. After the new update, Swift has been doing great sales. This hatchback has been popular among the customers over the years. At the second position was Maruti Suzuki WagonR, which sold 17305 units.
Brezza becomes best selling SUV
Like the month of February, Maruti Suzuki Brezza has been the country’s best-selling SUV in March as well. In March 2023, this car has sold 16,227 units. Following Brezza, the company’s Maruti Suzuki Baleno stood at the fourth position. Its 16,168 units were sold.
On the other hand, Tata Nexon was ranked second and Hyundai Creta was ranked third position. Both these SUVs have sold 14,769 and 14,026 units respectively in March 2023.
Maruti Dzire only sedan in top 10
Maruti Suzuki DZire is the only sedan car in the top 10 best selling cars. Last month 13,394 units of this car were sold. Maruti Suzuki Eeco has been at number eight, which has sold 11,995 units in the last month.
Punch and Grand Vitara are also included in the top 10
Tata Punch remains in the top 10 list. It has been at the 9th position in March. It registered sales of 10,894 units. Grand Vitara entered the top 10 for the first time and sold 10,045 units last month.
Beleno took 4th position
Maruti Suzuki’s only premium hatchback stood fourth in terms of sales in March with sales of 16,168 units. This model missed out on third place by only a few units. It is the best selling model of Nexa.
Maruti Eeco has got a surprising eighth position
It remains a wonder that a van makes it to the top 10 vehicles in the segment in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki Eeco has sold 11,995 units in the month of March and is ruling its segment. Customers in rural areas like it very much.
