Tata Nexon EV (Electric SUV)
Tata Nexon EV is the clear winner of this battle by sold over 800 units, the highest by a safe margin. In H1 FY2020-21, Tata managed to sell a total of 1151 units of the Nexon EV, which resulted in the car gaining a market share of 61.4 per cent in the said period. Tata Tigor Electric Sedan
Tata Tigor EV, First available to government officials, followed by fleet operators and car rental services, the Tigor EV has been around since 2017. It is, of course, the homegrown carmaker’s first fully-electric vehicle in the market. In 2019, Tata Motors introduced the Tigor EV to the private buyers too. Hyundai Kona Electric SUV
Hyundai Motor India becomes the first brand in the country to sell a fully electric SUV with the launch of Hyundai Kona Electric car. India hasn’t had the necessary infrastructure to support the existence of EVs in the past, but with the Kona EV, that is sure to change, for Hyundai has considered setting up charging stations at its dealerships. The Hyundai Kona Electric is powered by a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that produces 134bhp and 395Nm of torque and draws its power from a liquid-cooled 39.2kWh Li-ion battery pack. It can manage the 0-100km/h sprint in 9.7 seconds. The Kona Electric slipped-down one position due to sold only 26 units in August 2020. The Car sold only 71 units during June to August 2020 and take 4th in the chart.

Mahindra eVerito Electric Sedan
Another Mahindra offering, the e-Verito is a sedan, unlike the e2oPlus. It is equipped with a similar AC-induction, three-phase motor. However, this vehicle offers an immense boot space, around 510-litre, which makes it perfect for hauling large bags and equipment. Additional features include an electro-hydraulic power steering and tubeless steel wheels. However, it is only available in a Diamond White shade. The last EV in our list is Mahindra fully electric sedan the “eVerito” which sold only single unit in the last month and took the 5th rank in the list.
