Toyota has not revealed any technical specifications of this compact cruiser EV. However, it is expected to be based on the electrified version of Toyota’s TNGA platform which will be the bigger bZ4x SUV. It is expected to feature a dual-motor set-up with all-wheel-drive. Even though it may be just a concept for now, the Toyota Compact Cruiser EV could hit the auto market in the coming years. Once launched, this compact cruiser EV can challenge the Ford Bronco Sport and the next-gen Jeep Renegade in the international market.

Exterior
Toyota’s compact cruiser EV has been designed by the Toyota Europe Design Development Center in Nice, France. The compact Cruiser EV’s design resembles that of the first generation of Toyota’s famous Land Cruiser model. While also reminiscent of the FJ Cruiser from 2006. It should also be kept in mind that this is just a concept, its production has not started yet. Keeping the retro theme in mind, this compact cruiser EV gets horizontal LED headlights fixed to a grille with lettering. This gives it a J80 Land Cruiser-style face.
