Triumph Thunderbird Storm Overview :- Triumph Thunderbird is a fabulously built cruiser by Triumph which was first introduced to the world in 1949. The Triumph Thunderbird Storm is a downsized version of the original Thunderbird with a powerful 1699cc engine which was introduced in 2011. The Triumph Thunderbird Storm still carries the divine legacy of the original Thunderbird including its hard-edged style, a mean look with attitude, great handling and a powerful engine. Standard features on the Thunderbird Storm include ABS, tank mounted speedo which includes an on-board computer, compact rev counter and electronic self-cancelling indicators. It has good instrument console which includes tachometer, trip meter, clock, fuel gauge. The Triumph Thunderbird Storm has good combination of stylish and looks with a great comfort features. It has an all-black theme and big black engine that really suits its design. It has a detachable passenger seat to enjoy the solo riding. Based on the original Thunderbird, the Storm keeps the pure Triumph twin headlights. It come with a chrome-plated silencers, distinctive twin halogen headlights, a Thunderbird paper dart logo embossed above the word Storm on the clutch cover, front and rear turn indicators and a beautiful LED tail light to make it a formidable competitor.

Triumph Thunderbird Storm Specification :- Triumph Thunderbird Storm is powered by a powerful 1,699cc, 2-cylinders, 4-valves per cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC and a camshaft with 270-degrees of firing intervals, multipoint sequential electronic fuel injection with progressive linkage on throttle, a wet multi-plate clutch, parallel-twin engine with a maximum power of 96.5 bhp at 5,200rpm and a maximum torque of 156Nm at 2,950rpm and is mated with a 6-speed constant mesh gearbox(helical type 2nd-6th). Triumph Thunderbird Storm has got 310mm diameter twin floating disk brakes with Nissin 4-piston fixed calipers at front and 310mm diameter single fixed disk brakes with Brembo 2-piston floating caliper at rear. The suspension system consists of Showa 47mm forks with 120mm wheel travel at front and Showa chromed spring twin shocks with 5-position adjustable preload and 95mm wheel travel at rear. ABS is a standard feature. The fuel tank capacity is of 22 litres and wet weight is of 339 kg.
