While Mahindra is about to introduce 5 electric SUVs. In all, 9 new cars will be launched. The cheapest car among these will be Maruti’s Alto, which will be launched as the third generation. 1. Hyundai Tucson – Launch on August 4

Hyundai’s Tucson SUV will be the first car to be launched in August. The new generation model of this car was unveiled on July 13 and its longer wheelbase model will be launched for the first time in India. It will get the option of 2.0 liter petrol and diesel engines with all wheel drive system option. Apart from this, the Hyundai logo and four-spoke steering wheel will be seen on the rear windshield. In terms of lighting, the Tucson will get a large front grille with integrated LED DRLs. The SUV will be equipped with LED lighting at the front and rear. Bookings for the new Hyundai Tucson SUV have started.

2. Toyota Hyryder – Launch on August 16

Toyota Hyryder will be launched in the Indian market on 16th August. The highlight of the Hyryder is its mild-hybrid petrol engine, a first of its kind in its segment. It is also the first model in the segment to get all-wheel-drive in the mild-hybrid variant. The High Rider is powered by a 1.5-litre engine. This engine gives an output of 68 kW and is capable of generating 122Nm of pickup torque. In the mid-size SUV segment, it will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Tigoon and Skoda Kushak. Maruti’s Grand Vitara SUV based on this car will be launched in September.

3. Five Mahindra Electric SUVs – Unveil on August 15

Mahindra has released the teaser of its electric SUV cars. In this trailer, the company has given a glimpse of their side profile, out of which 4 models look like coupe SUVs. One of these could be the electric version of the Mahindra XUV700. All SUVs are SUVs. These electric vehicles are being built on the new born electric platform. All these will have their world premiere on August 15. That is, finally the way for Mahindra’s electric cars is going to open.

4. New Maruti Alto – Launch on August 18

On August 18, Maruti will launch the new generation model of its popular hatchback Alto. A new powertrain will be given in this car built on the new platform. Like other Maruti Suzuki models such as the S Presso, Celerio, Wagon R and XL6, it will also be based on the Heartect platform. In some of the pictures that surfaced, its design looks like Celerio. It will be given a 796CC petrol engine as before, which will generate 48Bhp power and 69Nm torque. Apart from this, the option of K10c 1.0 liter engine can also be given in it.

5. Mercedes AMG EQS 53 4Matic+ – Launch on August 24

Mercedes-Benz’s first electric car, the EQS 53 4Matic+, will be launched at the end of August. After this the company will launch the EQS 580. The company’s upcoming electric car will generate power of 751Bhp with the Dynamic Plus package. It will have a single charge range of 320 kms and 360 kms. It will compete with the Porsche Tekken and Audi RS e-tron GT.
