Hero MotoCorp unveiled the new electric scooter Leap Hybrid SES in Auto Expo but the technology was first showcased by the company in the 2012 and 2014 Auto expo. The Leap hybrid scooter is one of the first hybrid scooters developed by an Indian popular two-wheeler manufacturer Hero. The Hero Electric AE-29 is the electric scooter that works on 8kW Permanent magnet AC (PMAC) motor with lithium-ion batteries pack setup. The new electric scooter can accelerate to a top speed of 100 kmph only. The Hero Leap Hybrid SES electric scooter equipped with modern features including an attractive looking LED headlight setup, LED turn indicator light, a stylish LED taillight, stylish alloy wheels and Brembo 240 mm twin-piston disc brake at the front. In terms of deign of new Elettrica electric scooter borrows various styling and design cues from Vespa’s conventional petrol-powered scooters. The Vespa Elettrica has a 4.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which powers up a brushless DC motor generating maximum power of 5.4 PS and 200 Nm of peak torque.
