Citroen C3 has been launched in India. Its starting price is Rs 5.70 lakh ex-showroom. This will be the second car from the French car manufacturer in India. It is available in two variants named Live and Feel. The brand has started pre-bookings for the new Citroen C3 from July 1.

Its design has been introduced as a B-segment hatchback like an SUV. Citroen says that the deliveries of the new C3 will start from today at the company’s La Maison phygital. The company says that the C3 will get home delivery of the car in 90 cities through its online sales channel. In the Indian market, the Citroen C3 competes with many SUVs like Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Nissan Magnite, Renault Chiger and Mahindra XUV300. Citroen C3: Exterior Design

In terms of looks, the car is stunning in every way from the chevron (brand logo) to the dual-tone treatment with contrast inserts, to the sleek chrome elements and heavy cladding. The car actually looks like a baby C5. It looks quite different. It gets Citroen’s signature grille with chrome treatment which gets split headlamps at the front. It comes with double DRL, dual-tone paint scheme, split LED headlamp cluster. The side profile gets multi-spoke alloys and large wheel arches, and it sports body-cladding with skid plates at the front and rear.

Citroen C3: Interior

On the inside, The car comes with a luxurious cabin with 2 interior trim options. Anodized Gray and Zesty Orange, with the latter getting a two-tone color treatment. The vibrant panels on the dashboard match the exterior shade of the car, while the air-con vents with glossy black bezels are similar to those of the C5 Aircross. The Custom will also get the option of an 8-seater cove and has a place to attach a smartphone clamp. The C3 also comes with a 2540 mm wheelbase and 315-litre boot space.

The new 2022 C3 comes with a large 10.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system that is enabled with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Apart from this, it also gets a four-speaker audio system, steering-mounted controls, a digital instrument cluster, etc. As far as safety features are concerned, the car is offered with dual front airbags, seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensor, ABS. with EBD, etc.

Citroen C3: Engine

Powertrain, The Citroen C3 is offered in India with two engine options. It is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that makes a maximum power of 81 bhp and peak torque of 115 Nm. Apart from this, the car also gets a turbo petrol option in the form of a 1.2-litre mill that produces 109 bhp of power and 190 Nm of torque. For transmission duties, the car uses a five-speed manual and six-speed manual gearbox respectively.

As part of the warranty program for the new C3, Citron has a standard vehicle warranty for two years or 40,000 km (whichever is earlier), on spare parts and accessories for 12 months or 10,000 km (whichever is earlier). There are services like warranty.
