The Hilux may get, Like Toyota Innova Crysta and Toyota Fortuner, it will be developed on the company’s IMV-2 platform. The length of the Toyota Hilux is 5.3 meters with a wheelbase of more than 3 metres. Toyota Hilux will be taller than Fortuner and Innova Crysta. On the other hand, in terms of look and design, the Hilux pickup truck launched in India will see revised bumpers, wider air-dams and bigger grilles. Nothing special will be seen in its rear look.

According to media reports, Talking about the features, it will have an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which will support Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, LED lighting, keyless entry, auto headlights, eight-inch infotainment system, 18-inch alloy wheels, ventilated seats, cruise control, and connected car technology are also expected. It also offers a host of comforts and amenities in the cabin to play the role of a lifestyle vehicle as well. It comes with features like ambient light, auto air conditioning, JBL speaker. In India, Toyota Hilux is likely to share some key parts with the Fortuner.

Upcoming Toyota Hilux Engine:

In terms of engine and power, Although Toyota hasn’t confirmed what engines the Hilux will be offered with here, we expect it to be powered by the Fortuner’s 2.8-litre diesel engine. This engine produces 204hp and 420Nm of peak torque (500Nm with the automatic gearbox), although exact gearbox details are yet to be confirmed. This engine in the Fortuner is offered with both manual and automatic gearboxes, and we expect the same for the Hilux as well. Similarly, we expect Toyota to offer both 4×2 and 4×4 configurations on the Hilux, just as it does with the Fortuner.
