What to expect from Jaguar XE

In his lifetime each one of us wants to own a car from Audi, Jaguar, Mercedes and BMW. All these brands are famous for manufacturing big luxurious cars  but seeing that everybody cannot afford these they all started manufacturing there compact sedan cars.  Bmw has 3 series, Mercedes has C class and Audi A4 how can the big luxurious car manufacturer from Britain Jaguar remain behind. So they will be launching its new compact sports sedan car XE.

Now what to expect from Jaguar XE-  

It will be launching globally in mid 2015 and India will be a big market for them as there is lots of demand for compact sedan cars here, following its world debut at the Paris motor show in October. Destined to sit beneath the XF in Jaguar’s line-up, prices for the XE are likely to start at around 40 lakhs.

Jaguar already confirmed plans for a frugal model that will have CO2 emissions of less than 100 g/km, while at the other end of the lineup will be a hot model capable of doing 186 mph (300 km/h).

The car will use the  aluminium platform  which will be seen on many other upcoming jaguar cars and eventually be used underneath the bulk of cars in the Jaguar range. The saloon will be followed by an estate.

Under the bonnet will be an all-new range of Ingenium four-cylinder petrol and diesel engines built in a new Wolverhampton factory. Their focus will be to provide Jaguar the power and efficiency that customers expect in this class.

the XE will also be available with a range of new small capacity 2.0-litre turbo petrol and diesel engines called Ingenium. Detailed specifications on the engines have not yet been released Jaguar’s global brand chief, Adrian Hallmark, confirmed it.
