Yamaha Alpha Overview: Yamaha Motors India lunched the Alpha at the 2014 Auto Expo. Alpha is the third scooter from Yamaha Motors India. The scooter come with overall modern design with stylish looks. Alpha come with the Yamaha’s Blue Core technology, the Blue Core aided motor promises a better combustion efficiency along with an improved fuel economy and better performance. Yamaha Alpha is a family scooter built for an extreme comfort of a small family. The special feature of the Alpha is mass centralization, which helps to keep optimum stability and makes the handling easier. The scooter also offers a 21-litre under seat storage space option, enough to accommodate a full-face helmet and then even some space is left for other valuables items. It come with a long and comfortable seat and a large floorboard. Yamaha Motors India will be offered in two variants of Alpha, standard variant with drum brake and disc brake variant.

Yamaha Alpha Specification: Alpha is powered by a 113cc, single cylinder, air-cooled, 4-stroke, 2-valve, SOHC engine with Blue Core technology. It generate maximum power 7 Bhp at 7500 Rpm and maximum torque of 8.1 Nm at 5000 Rpm. Alpha which uses the Yamaha’s Blue Core technology in order to provide refined the performance and and also increases the mileage. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. The scooter front brake come with two option one is hydraulic single disc brake and another is mechanical leading trailing drum brake and 130 mm mechanical leading trailing drum brake at rear end. The front suspension is telescopic fork and rear suspension is unit swing. It has a fuel tank of 5.20 liters and it weights around disk brake model 104 kg and drum brake model 104 kg.

Yamaha Alpha Color and Shades: Alpha will be available in two variants and five attractive color options. The drum brake will be available in three attractive color options that are Magical Magenta, Fiery Red and Radiant White. The disc brake will be available in two attractive color options that are Radiant Cyan and Marvel Black.
Yamaha Alpha Competitors: Alpha is likely to compete with Honda Activa 4G, TVS Jupiter, Hero Maestro Edge, Mahindra Gusto 110, Honda Aviator and Honda Dio.
