Royal Enfield has finally lunched the much awaited new BS6 compliant Continental GT 650 bike in India. The Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 is the famous powerful attractive and classic looking modern café racer bike from Royal Enfield lineup. The new bike gets minor cosmetic changes with minor mechanical specifications change with new BS6 standard emission engine with updated features. In terms of design the new bike remains unchanged, the Royal Enfield has implemented certain new added features more aggressive classic café racer look in the bike with chrome treatments in bike part and more attractive colors options. The new bike equipped with BS6 standard emission engine with fuel injection system which improve overall performance and fuel efficiency. BS6 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 comes with retro-looking twin-pod instrument cluster, round headlight with chrome mask, LED taillight, engine kill switch, sculpted fuel tank, clip-on handlebars, single-piece wide or comfortable seat, dual chrome exhausts and classic rear view mirrors, spoke wheels and Pirelli Phantom Sportcomp tyres. BS6 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 continues to be available in five attractive colors options and three variant the base variant is standard, mid variant is custom and top variant is chrome available in double disc brake with dual channel ABS option in India.

BS6 Royal Enfield Continental GT 650is powered by the all-new 648cc, 4-stroke, air/oil-cooled, parallel twin-cylinder, SOHC, BS6 engine with fuel injection system that produces 36.8 Hp of power at 7150 rpm and 52 Nm of torque at 5250 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed transmission with a slipper clutch. The new engine gets the new BS6 standard emission with fuel injection system which improves overall performance and fuel efficiency in the bike. The suspension duties managed by telescopic forks at the front and twin gas-charged shock absorbers at the rear. The braking duties handled by a 320 mm disc brake at the front and 240 mm disc brake at rear with dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) for the better handling braking duties and safe ride on the road.
