Hero Duet 125 – Lunched Event
Hero MotoCorp unveiled the 125cc version of its Duet scooters at the Auto Expo 2018. The all-new model are based on the 110 cc versions of the Duet models, and get cosmetic upgrades as well as feature upgrades, along with a brand new 125cc engine engine with i3S system. The new tech, already seen on Hero motorcycles, has been introduced to offer improved efficiency on the new 125 cc offerings. The scooters are also equipped with i3S (idle-start-stop tech) that, until now, was seen only on Hero bike. The Duet 125 caters to those who are on the lookout for premium styling in a family-friendly package. The new Duet 125 will be going on sale in the second quarter of the 2018-19 financial year, as per the company.

Hero Duet 125 Specifications:
Hero Duet 125 is the powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder Boost engine tuned to produce 8.7 bhp at 6750 rpm and 10.2 Nm of peak torque at 5000 rpm. The engine also gets Hero’s popular idle-Stop-Start System (i3S system) as well to provide it with a better fuel efficiency in traffic conditions. This should potentially endow them with better fuel efficiency than most scooters in the segment. The scooter also comes with drum brakes fro front and rear end.
Hero Duet 125 Features:
The new Hero Duet 125 comes with its own host of premium features like a side stand indicator, service reminder, pass switch, external fuel filler cap, boot lamp and small styling touches throughout its metal body. The new Duet 125 also comes with a boot lamp and mobile charging. Styling-wise, the Duet gets body colored rear view mirrors and dual tone colored seat. The duet can only be had with drum brakes, for now.
