Amaze VS Rapid: Exterior

The Young, Smart, Perfect Executive Sedan design for Indian expectations. The Front of Rapid looks like Fabia but well balanced at rear with Executive look. Chrome plated central grill with stretched headlights and colored bumper & wide air dam looks decent. Elegant waistline, central roof antenna, color door handle with alloy wheel makes it perfect compact sedan. Refreshed tail lamps with parking sensors at rear bumper. While Amaze comes with sporty front look with sedan look at rear. Stretched waist-line with colored door handle make it more stylish. Aerodynamic appeal at front with wide space for air intake and stretched cluster of headlamps give it cool look. The Chassis height is best suited for Indian roads.

Amaze VS Rapid: Interior

The Interior of the Rapid is built with fine class of plastic which gives feeling of any premium sedan. Comes in dark and light combination of dashboard, waterfall console with 4 spoke leather coated steering wheel with multi-function display. Overall cabin gives you luxurious feeling with good space and rear seats are also comfortable enough to accommodate 3 people. A separate Ac vent has been provided for rear passengers. 2 color beige interior comes in Amaze with 3 spoke on steering wheel and cabin is ditto copy of Honda brio. Enough space at both front and at rear end gives feeling of a sports car, which is actually sedan in nature. Quality of plastic is good but not as good of Rapid.

Amaze VS Rapid : Performance

The 1.6 Ltr TDI diesel engine which is the strong point of Skoda produce enough power and less sound compared to Amaze. Turbocharged diesel engine produce 105 bhp which gives excellent mileage of 20 Kmpl. On other hand Honda have just entered into diesel segment with i-DTEC engine which produce only 100 bhp. So need to do much work as its diesel engine has sound which can be judged from cabin itself. Though entrant in diesel platform, but despite that Amaze is able to deliver best mileage in industry. While Rapid is also able to deliver 20 Kmpl. The acceleration and pick up of both the car is of same around 12 Sec to reach 0 to 100 kmph.

Amaze VS Rapid: Safety and other features

Amaze comes with dual airbags in higher version with good ground clearance. Other various facilities like ABS, EBD, USB connectivity are also equipped with. Skoda is known for its finish, safety features. Dual airbags with extra side airbag is provided for driver along with ABS and fog lamps at front and rear.
