Nissan Qashqai – Overview
Yet another SUV planned by Nissan motors India, that is “Nissan Qashqai” for 2018. The first generation of the Nissan Qashqai, which has been on sale in the international markets since 2007 has proved to be one of the most successful products for the Japanese Automaker.

Nissan Qashqai – Specifications
The Nissan Qashqai comes with diesel and petrol options. The 1.5 litre dCi diesel engine generates a maximum power of 106 bhp at 4000 rpm and kicks out a torque of 240 Nm at 2000 rpm. The 2L diesel mill delivers a top power of 110 bhp at 4000 rpm and a peak torque 0f 320 Nm at 2000 rpm. Both engine are mated to six-speed manual gearbox. On the other hand, the petrol engine comes with 1.6 and 2 L options. The 1.6 litre power-train develops a maximum power of 115 bhp at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 156 Nm. The 2 L engine churns out 140 bhp of power at 6000 rpm and 196 Nm of torque. A five-speed transmission is standard, but the top-end variants come with six-speed manual CV T transmission.

Exterior
The front fascia sports bold human eye-shaped headlamps, honeycomb grille, unique air-intake flanked by fog-lamps and bumper rapped in gray shade. On the sides, the car looks longer and the 17 inch alloy wheels and high ground clearance enhance the side profile. In the rear, the Qashqai looks more like a hatchback. The car has LED tail lights and high stop lamp at the rear spoiler. The rear has got a distinctively designed wind-shield as well.
Interior
The interiors of the Qashqai looks more elegant and classy. The dashboard is eye-catching and the fit and finish is top-class. The centre of dash houses an integrated audio system and AC controls. The three-spoke power steering has audio and computer controls mounted on it.
