Updated 2017 Triumph Street Triple S, Street Triple R, and Street Triple RS made global debut earlier this year. The new Street Triple with 765cc engine has now been launched in India.
This makes it the second Street Triple to be on sale in India after the S variant. The RS model gets all the features that the Street Triple S gets, but it also loaded with technology that makes it more powerful and fun. Bookings have opened for the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS and the first lot of bikes has already sold out till February 2018.
The Street Triple 765 RS, launched at Rs 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, India), is the highest-spec version in the Street Triple family and it sits above the Street Triple 765 S in terms of power and the quality of the cycle parts on offer. For Rs 1.84 lakh over the standard Street Triple S, the RS offers a number of high-performance upgrades.
From the same 765cc inline three cylinder motor, it has been retuned to churn out more power at 121bhp and 77Nm of maximum torque. This mill is mated to a six-speed gearbox.
