Overview

Indian Motorcycle has launched the 2018 Roadmaster Elite at a price of ₹ 48 lakh (ex-showroom). The Indian Roadmaster Elite made its debut last year and Indian will manufactured only 300 units globally. Only two units of the Roadmaster Elite have been allotted for India specifically and both have been sold.

Design & Features

The Indian Roadmaster Elite could be called a variant of the standard Roadmaster but it does get a few different features as well. Besides its extravagant features, the flagship cruiser gets all-LED lights like the regular Roadmaster, a significant amount of chrome detailing on the front and rear fenders and a 300W audio system with USB and Bluetooth connectivity. A part of Indian’s Touring range, the Roadmaster Elite is also equipped with features like an adjustable windscreen and floorboards, heated seats, cruise control, a waterproof saddlebag and a waterproof trunk with a storage capacity of more than 140 litres of luggage.

Engine Specifications

The motorcycle gets gets a 1811cc, V-Twin engine that develops around 73 HP of power and 150 Nm of torque. Mated to the Thunder-Stroke 111 motor is a 6-speed gearbox which transmits power to the rear wheel via a belt drive system. Weighing in at 628 kgs, the cruiser is suspended on telescopic forks up front and a single pneumatic shock absorber at the rear.
