Skoda has launched the 2021 Skoda Kushaq in the same financial year in June 2021. The car price starting from Rs. 10.49 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), the 2021 Skoda Kushaq is available in three trim levels – Active, Ambition and Style. Customer can book the car with a token money of Rs. 35K from the registered Skoda dealers across the country. The car price goes upto Rs. 17.59 lakh for the top spec. Apart from, the car comes with twin engines: a 1.0-litre TSI and 1.5-litre TSI AT Style trim. The Skoda Kushaq already showcased at Auto Expo 2020 in form of Vision in concept. This is also Skoda’s first SUV based on the localised MQB A0 IN platform. The car compete with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, MG Hector and Tata Harrier. Along with its newly launched sister car, the Volkswagen Taigun.
2021 Skoda Kushaq Exterior Design:
On the design front, the Kushaq carries over many elements from the Vision IN concept, and its overall style is in line with Skoda’s larger SUVs. Up front, it has Skoda’s trademark grille flanked by sleek headlights on either side and a secondary light cluster positioned just below. The Kushaq features some sharp lines and prominent creases along the body. At the rear, it has large wrap-around LED tail-lights, a faux diffuser element on the bumper, and a roof-mounted spoiler. The top-spec model also comes with a set of 17-inch alloy wheels.
2021 Skoda Kushaq Interior:
On the inside, The Kushaq has a clean and minimal design, with a layered dash that has a free-standing touchscreen sitting in the middle. Skoda has also equipped the SUV with a two-spoke steering wheel. the Skoda Kushaq receives features such as an electric sunroof, a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink; a two-spoke steering wheel, wireless charging, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats, cruise control, and a cooled glove-box.
2021 Skoda Kushaq Engine:
Powertrain options on the new Skoda Kushaq includes a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder TSI petrol engine producing 113bhp and 178Nm of torque, as well as a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, TSI petrol engine producing 148bhp and 250Nm of torque. A six-speed manual unit is standard while the 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre versions get a six-speed automatic unit and a seven-speed DSG automatic unit as an option, respectively.
