Luxury car maker BMW India has launched its new BMW M4 Competition Coupe in the Indian market. The high-end performance-oriented car from the German luxury carmaker will be made available in the Indian market as a completely built-up unit (CBU). The company has launched this car at a price of Rs 1.44 crore (ex-showroom).
Being an ‘M’ car, the 2022 M4 Competition also comes with multiple drive modes, adaptive suspension that adjusts based on the mode selected and M compound brakes. The German marque says it has worked on the chassis to provide the M4 high torsional rigidity all the while maintaining the agility and precision of the performance coupe intact.
100 km Speed in just 3.5 seconds
The car can accelerate from standstill to 100 kmph in just 3.5 seconds. For fast reaction, both the M xDrive and Active M Differential are directly connected to the Dynamic Stability Control system, resulting in control over both understeer and oversteer.
2022 BMW M4 Competition Exterior Design:
Talking about the Exterior Design of the Car, The body design of the all-new BMW M4 Competition Coupe includes an M-specific variant of the large, vertical BMW kidney grille with hallmark double bar in horizontal design, powerfully sculpted wheel arches with attractive M gules. While it gets a boot mounted spoiler and a sharply sculpted rear bumper with multi-channel defuser and black-chromed, round tail-light set on either side. Apart from this, it gets attachment parts for the prominently extended side front and rear apron. Adaptive LED headlights are standard with the BMW LaserLight. The M-Spec exterior mirrors feature aerodynamically optimized contouring and are standard in high-gloss black.
2022 BMW M4 Competition Interior:
Talking about the interior, The car’s feature list includes three-zone automatic climate control, LED internal light arrangement with ambient light and a Hi-Fi speaker system. BMW Live Cockpit Professional gets a 12.3-inch screen digital instrument cluster and 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which can be controlled from the multifunction buttons on the steering wheel, voice control along with iDrive controller. Along with this, The new M4 Competition comes in a variety of upholstery options, including the M leather ‘Merino’ with enhanced content in Yas Marina Blue, Kytami Orange and Silverstone Black.
2022 BMW M4 Competition Engine:
Talking about the engine and power of the 2022 BMW M4 Competition, it is powered by a 3.0-litre 6-cylinder turbo-petrol engine like the regular model, which can generate power of up to 503 bhp at 6,250 rpm and torque of up to 650 Nm between 2750 and 5500. This luxurious Car of BMW is equipped with 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive system. Apart from this, the top speed of the car is 250 kmph.
