BMW has launched its new car X3 M40i in the Indian market. The starting price of this SUV adorned with attractive looks and powerful engine has been fixed at Rs 86.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). This is the performance version of the X3 SUV which gets the engine from the M340i sedan. The company has introduced it in India in a completely built unit (CBU), which will be available in limited numbers only. Along with the launch, its official booking has also been started, for which a token amount of Rs 5 lakh will have to be deposited.

2023 BMW X3 M40i: Exterior Design
In terms of design, The X3 M40i comes with the M Sport package as standard and gets M-special kidney grilles, headlights, wing mirrors and tailpipes along with dual-tone, 20-inch alloy wheels. The window surrounds, roof rails and the slats on the kidney grille have been finished in black along with red brake calipers. BMW is offering this SUV in Brooklyn Gray and Black Sapphire colors.

The interior of the SUV has been decorated with carbon fiber, which is completely based on the motor sport ‘M’ theme. M leather steering wheel with multifunction, contrast stitching in M colors and open spokes add a sporty touch to the interiors. The car comes with memory function, exterior mirror package, panoramic glass roof and welcome light with carpeted electrical seat adjustments, ambient lighting with 6 dimmable design, electroplated controls and 3-zone automatic climate control.

Talking about the engine and power of the 2023 BMW X3 M40i xDrive, It is powered by the same engine as the M340i sedan which is a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder in-line petrol engine. The power of this engine is 355 Bhp and the peak torque is 500 Nm. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic Steptronic Sport transmission that comes with paddle shifters. BMW claims that this car is capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 kmph in 4.9 seconds and its top speed is 250 kmph.
