BMW India has introduced the updated Z4 Roadster in the country. The 2023 BMW Z4 facelift has been launched in India at Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom). The bookings for this have started and it will be available at all BMW dealerships across India from June. It will be imported as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). The car will come built-up from abroad and will be directly available for sale here.
The luxury car will come with a two-year warranty as standard and will be available in 7 color schemes including the all-new Skyscraper Gray and Portimao Blue options. Let’s get to know about the BMW Z4 M40i in detail.

Let us tell you, the 2023 BMW Z4 facelift has been launched in India at Rs 89.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from the Porsche 718 Boxster, the 2-door convertible sports car has no direct rivals in India. However, the Porsche 718 Boxster is much more expensive than it, with a starting price of Rs. 1.52 crores.
2023 BMW Z4 facelift: Exterior Design
In terms of design, Not much has changed on the facelifted BMW Z4. It gets minor changes as compared to earlier, such as updated bumper, new vertical LED headlights and updated 19-inch alloy wheels. There are some changes in this. The soft-top roof of this convertible sports car can open and close in just 10 seconds, it is electrically operated. The Z4’s cabin gets updated upholstery but there is no change in features. Also, in keeping with the existing BMW design language, the open-top sports car gets a new grille with large air intakes.
2023 BMW Z4 facelift: Interiors
The interiors of the new BMW Z4 M40i Roadster remain more or less the same, but now it gets a modern cockpit with connected features that comes with the operating system 7.0. In addition, it gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a high-resolution touchscreen display with driver assisting features like GPS with 3D maps, touch controller, parking and driving assistant function with Apple CarPlay.
2023 BMW Z4 facelift: Features
The company has offered features like auto start-stop and brake-energy regeneration in this roadster. Also, this car will be available with three driving modes – EcoPro, Comfort and Sport. In terms of safety, it gets front and side airbags for both driver and passenger, ABS with brake assist, dynamic stability control, electronic vehicle immobilizer and crash sensors.
2023 BMW Z4 facelift: Engine Specification
BMW India will sell the Z4 Roadster in only one variant – the M40i. It has a 3.0-liter, 6-cylinder, in-line engine, which generates 335 bhp power and 500 Nm torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The BMW Z4 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds. It gets three driving modes – EcoPro, Comfort and Sport.
