Citroen C3 Turbo 1.2:- France’s leading automaker Citroen launched its hatchback car C3 at the end of 2022. Initially the model lineup was made available in two trims – Live and Feel, priced between Rs 5.71 lakh to Rs 8.06 lakh. Now, the company has added a new top-end C3 Turbo 1.2 variant with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. Whose initial ex-showroom price is Rs 7.60 lakh. The facelifted version of the new Citroen C3 is offered in four variants – Turbo 1.2, Turbo 1.2 Vibe Pack, Turbo 1.2 Dual Tone and Turbo 1.2 Dual Tone with Vibe Pack. In terms of competition, it will compete with vehicles like Tata Punch, Maruti Brezza, Maruti Baleno, Maruti Swift and Nissan Magnite.
The new C3 Turbo Shine is available in two versions – Dual Tone and Dual Tone Vibe Pack – priced at Rs 8.80 lakh and Rs 8.92 lakh respectively. The Turbo Feel Dual Tone and Feel Dual Tone Vibe packs cost Rs 8.28 lakh and Rs 8.43 lakh, respectively.
New Added Features
The top-end Shine variant comes with 13 new features which include an advanced safety suite that includes ESP (Electronic Stability Program), hill-hold assist, tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), engine start/stop. The feature list includes electrically adjustable ORVMs, rear parking camera, day/night IRVM, 15-inch diamond cut alloys, front fog lamps, rear skid plate, rear wiper and washer, rear defogger. It also comes with MY CITROEN Connect app with 35 smart connectivity features as part of Citroën’s Connectivity 1.0 plan.
Citroen C3 Turbo 1.2: Engine
The Citroen C3 Turbo variant gets a Gen III Puretech 1.2L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. This engine generates power of 110bhp and torque of 190Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. The car also gets the option of a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which generates 82bhp power and 115Nm torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The C3 turbo and non-turbo variants have a claimed ARAI certified mileage of 19.3 kmpl.
