Kia Seltos was launched by the company for the first time in the year 2019, with this SUV the company announced its entry into the Indian market. Now waiting for its new facelift model, which is expected to be introduced with many great features.
Kia India is preparing to launch the new facelift model of its famous SUV Kia Seltos in the market soon. Recently this SUV has been spotted during testing. After a long wait, this SUV has finally got a panoramic sunroof. Till now this feature was given only in rival models of Seltos like Maruti Grand Vitara, Creta etc. Now the new facelift model of Seltos has also been spotted with panoramic sunroof. Apart from this, many new features are expected to be given in this SUV.

Notably, the current Kia Seltos misses out on the panoramic sunroof, which makes the facelifted model even more special. According to media reports, the company may launch this SUV for sale in the coming months. However, no information about this has been given by the company so far. Kia India launched the first generation model of Seltos in the year 2019, with this SUV the brand entered India.
Till now the Kia Seltos came with a single-pane sunroof. Once launched, it will be the fifth mid-size SUV available in the Indian market to get a panoramic sunroof. Earlier this feature was available only in Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyrider, MG Aster.

2023 Kia Seltos facelift: Exterior Design
The upcoming Seltos facelift will get a redesigned grille and new headlamps. The LED daytime running lamps are still placed slightly lower in the grille than before. The side profile remains unchanged except for the new alloy wheels. The rear profile of this car has got maximum updates. It gets a new set of tail-lamps joined by an LED lightbar, which also gets Kia badging. The tail-lamps of the current model are joined by a chrome strip. The tailgate has also been redesigned in the new model and now a bigger indentation has been given for the number plate.
Interior Features
Talking about its interior, it will get major updates like ADAS along with panoramic sunroof. This will be the first Kia car in India to come with this security system. Standard features like six airbags, hill-assist control, vehicle stability management, parking sensor and camera will be available in this mid-size SUV.
The Seltos facelift will also get two 10.25-inch displays, one for the instrument cluster and the other for the infotainment system. The automatic gearbox equipped version of the Seltos facelift is also expected to get a rotary drive selector instead of a gear lever.
2023 Kia Seltos facelift: Engine Specifications
No changes will be made to the engine mechanism of the Seltos. The company will use the existing 1.5 liter petrol (115hp power and 144Nm torque) and 1.5 liter diesel engine (116hp, 250Nm) in it. It is believed that with this the company will once again include the turbo petrol engine in the lineup.
The new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine will now replace the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine by . The new turbo-petrol engine could come mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and a 6-speed iMT.
